"Stay Safe" / "Straight Into Night" out now!

"Stay Safe," the fourth single from Scattered Light, is available now everywhere you'd expect to find it (along with its b-side "Straight Into Night").

"Stay Safe" has been bouncing around in my head for years, and I've recorded probably three different versions at this point. For all sorts of reasons, the version that came together last year finally felt like the right one.

And then "Straight Into Night" was born during sessions for the The Static Age's "Mercies" record, but I couldn't find the right home for it until this latest arc.

These both have been a long time in the making, and it's awesome to have them out there.

Also, the accompanying video for "Stay Safe" was created via generative adversarial networks (with no additional editing). The model is slightly different from the one I used on "Give Up," but it's in the same ballpark. You can watch the video here.

You can also stream the song on Spotify, Apple Music or elsewhere (see the Scattered Light minisite for more links).

I hope you're all staying safe out there, and fingers crossed we'll all see each other again soon.

Andrew
