Hi all,
It's been an interesting summer. I got home from the run of shows in Germany in June, and ramped back into working on The Static Age's upcoming album. And then all that abruptly stopped when I was hit by a car while biking in mid-July. The good news is that I'm up and about again and getting back into things (though there are still doctor visits in my future, unfortunately). That includes some shows here and there. Here's an example of said shows: I'll be playing next week at the Empty Bottle here in Chicago with Have Gun Will Travel and Garrett Klahn (of Texas is the Reason — who I played with on that run of European shows back in December). The show is on Friday, August 28th at 9pm. I'll be on at 10. Details are right over here.
Come on down and check out the remainder of this awesome wound on my brow before it settles into a scar by the following show (which, by the way, will be October 8th at Fizz with Future Thieves).
And keep an eye on The Static Age's site for updates about the record soon!
