The new video for the single "Let Me Go" is now up on YouTube!
DETAILS
Directed and Edited by David Eber.
Based on footage by Jan Kivisaar.
For "Let Me Go" I wanted a video that felt like a journey without being illustrative or narrative, something that could match the space and scale of the song. As we started to develop concepts, my brother, Nick Paley, turned me on to videos he'd found online taken by a guy named Jan Kivisaar. Jan mounts cameras on the dashboards of trains as they travel through Europe. The result is surreal and hypnotic, and it struck me as the perfect complement to the song. The concept started there and ended up in this unique spot that I think of as somewhere between a music video and a meditation.
