The skies are clear and the view is absolutely amazing here over Alaska as I'm en route to Japan for a string of shows with Garrett Klahn (of Texas is the Reason) and The Lion and The Wolf from the UK.
I'll be in Tokyo by Sunday night local time, having solo-navigated from the Narita airport into the city and to where I'm staying in the Shinjuku neighborhood. Hopefully some combination of signs, Japanese folks and google maps will help get me there as I drag a yard sale of equipment and clothes with me. And then I'll have two whole days to wander the city and take it all in before meeting up with my tour mates on Tuesday night. Despite what I'm sure will be mind-altering levels of jet lag, I can't wait to go exploring.
